MAKING IT HAPPEN: Burnout

I went into last week burnt out.

So I took the week off.  It was lovely.

Want to know what I did?

I held my baby.  A lot.

I played with my kids.  A lot.

I smoked a cigar with the Hubster under the stars.  The conversation was stellar.

I took a couple naps.

I went shopping.

I had lunch with my dad.

I saw a movie.  And had coffee with friends.

I painted my fingernails.

I read a few books.

It was a good week.

Next week we’ll dive into another underwear drawer.  I’m not sure whose.  Do you want a peek of the Good Guy’s secret stash of personal stuff, or the Bad Guy’s?  Or maybe the Bad Girl?  Vote below and let me know!

p.s.  I’ve got a phobia of libraries.  Find out why here.

Your week sounds lovely. Now that you’ve done it, can I ‘borrow’ your week off. I think I’m in dire need of one of those. I seem to be doing it 1/2 way all the time. So not fully productive, but not fully rested and recharged, which not good on either side. 😦

I voted for ‘Good Guy’ because I bet there are some surprises in there. hee hee

Yay for you!! Taking time off is always fabulous to the soul. I hope you enter this week refreshed, mind, body, and spirit. You probably a can guess my vote – bad guy! What interesting things lurk in his chonie drawer? A yo-yo? Old Spice bottles? A rose some girl gave him for prom? Boogers?

Sometimes, we just need a week to regroup. Sounds like you did some really fun things. Love the cigar. Used to do that occasionally after a dinner with a bunch of lawyers. 😀

Myndi, take a week like that whenever you feel like it. You deserve it! When I think of all you have on your plate, I get burnt out! Don’t know how you do it, so do it with lots of days like the ones you describe here.
